March Break is almost here, and if you're staying in town, there is so much going on.
Here's what's going on in Ottawa to keep the children busy this March Break:
The City of Ottawa offers a large selection of March break camps at very decent prices, covering all sorts of fun activites, like sports, arts, and more. For information on the perfect camp for your children, check out ottawa.ca/recreation.
If your children love Dinosaur Train, they can see their favourite friends at the Centrepointe Theatre as they take to the stage in a live show. Jim Henson's Dinosaur Train Live! Buddy's Big Adventures encourages basic scientific thinking skills about life science, natural history, and paleontology. Fun for the entire family.
For loads of indoor fun, plan a visit to Funhaven—kids can have fun playing games, running through the jungle gym, bowling, rock climbing, and more.
Have a child who loves acting and and making everyone around him or her laugh? Sign them up for the March Break Drama Camp at Ottawa Little Theatre. For more information, check out ottawalittletheatre.com.
Take the family skiing at Camp Fortune this March break—it'll be one of the last chances you'll get to hit the slopes before ski season is over! Camp Fortune offers lessons for beginners and in March, you can ski any three days for $39 (children) and $99 (adults).
The Ottawa School of Art offers March Break camps for children aged six to 12. For more information, check out artottawa.ca.
